Kurt and Shen got married in the middle of this crazy COVID-19 pandemic last month. I would have never dreamed at the beginning of this year, the world would be in the chaos it is today and has been for the last few months. Soooo many changed/ruined plans, especially weddings. My heart was crushed for all the many brides and grooms who had to downsize their wedding to just family and un-invite all the other special people who are near and dear to their hearts as well. Or even push their wedding off to a later date. It’s been a super hard season for so many but also a growing season too.
Kurt and Shen did not let this pandemic steal their joy or spoil their special day even though it threw them for a loop and they bumped up their date a few weeks to ensure they’d actually be able to tie the knot due to all the uncertainty and changing statements everyday!! They had the sweetest tiny wedding ever and I absolutely loved it!! 🙂 There is something extra special about these tiny weddings with just the couple’s families and a few closest friends around them while they promise their lives to each other! They were able to bring everything together beautifully for the short amount of time they had and I loved their light and airy reception! The best part of the day were their husband and wife portraits after the reception with the flowering trees and the glowing sunset!!
We loved being a part of your day Kurt and Shen!! You guys were so awesome and flexible with all the craziness that happened!! It was an honor to capture your special day!! 🙂 God bless you both as you enjoy life together!!
Love you guys, Kari
