Lyndon & Amy compliment each other perfectly!! It was so much fun learning to know them through their engagement session and corresponding with them leading up to the wedding day! From all the talking we did during their engagement session, I was pretty sure their wedding was going to be nothing short of GORGEOUS! And I was so right!! They thought through so many beautiful little details that added just the right touch to their day. Amy even brought a piece of fabric along to her getting ready photos that matched with the blues she chose and we were able to incorporate that into the styled photos of her perfume, shoes, and invitation!! And the colors Amy chose had me ooohhing and aaahhhing all day!! 😉 The shades of dusty and smokey blue with the burgundy and all the white made for a perfectly CLASSY wedding! And oh how much fun it was running all over the place capturing it all with our cameras!! It’s so important brides, that you hire a photographer whose style of photos YOU LOVE because photos are the only thing to look back on to remember all the beauty, all the special moments and how you felt on your wedding day!!
The morning started out FREEZING cold (there was actually frost on the ground) but the sun came out and shone beautifully!! Giving us some gorgeous glory morning light for some of their portraits. Lyndon & Amy braved the cold though and their excitement that the day was finally here helped keep them warm. 😉 It was so sweet to see how Lyndon cared for his bride and Amy’s face glowed with pure joy all day! 🙂 It never ceases to amaze me how God brings couples together and makes a beautiful union of the two! Lyndon and Amy met through attending the same church for 2 years before they started dating. So they learned to know each other pretty well during youth group activities. Their places of work were next to each other and as their attraction for the other grew, they both looked for opportunities to (hopefully) see each other whenever they’d pass the other’s work place! 😉 (Neither of them knew the other was interested.) 😉 Of course after being apart for a few weeks while Lyndon was out West elk hunting, he realized he missed her and got brave enough to ask her dad if he could start a relationship with Amy. 🙂 I always love hearing how couples meet and everyone’s story is unique and beautiful!!
I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of their wedding day story and show the real beauty that it was!! 😉 Lyndon and Amy, thank you soooo much for the opportunity of being such a big part of your wedding day!! It’s always such an honor to celebrate with my couples and you two were a dream to work with and photograph!! Have so much fun down South on your honeymoon and I wish you guys God’s richest blessings on your marriage!!
Love you guys, Kari
